THE LINE UP
As a host home you are opening your home up to a small group of students along with 2 adult group leaders. The group sizes range in size from 5 to 14 people. As a host home we ask that you provide a room with a bed for the adult group leader(s) to sleep in along with an area for the students to sleep – this can be a living room or game room. Students will bring sleeping bags, pillows, blankets, and air mattresses to sleep on. You will also provide breakfast for the group on Saturday morning. Breakfast can be cereal, pancakes, casseroles, donuts, etc… We also ask that host home assist in transporting groups to and from the church through out the weekend. You will also be able to participate in all worship services and activities through out the weekend!
As a group leader you are responsible for leading the small group debrief times through out the weekend as well as monitoring the activity of your group. You will stay in the host home with the students and assist in transporting the group to and from the church. Each small group will consist of 5 – 14 students. If a disciplinary situation arises, please contact a staff member to step in and handle the situation.Group Leader Guide Book
As a driver you will help small groups with transportation throughout the weekend. You will be paired with specific small groups and be on call to pick up and drop off students at predetermined locations. You will also be able to participate in all worship services and activities through out the weekend! Driver Guide Book
As someone assisting with event support you are the behind the scenes warrior that makes things happen! You will assist in an array of jobs – anything from student check-in to setting up meals. This is a critical role in making the weekend happen as smoothly as possible.
